Pipe accessories and smoking pipes are abundantly available. Pipe accessories such as ashtrays, lighters, pipe stands, pipe cleaners and pipe cabinets are manufactured for our smoking convenience.

One of the pipe accessories that a person needs to have and learn more about is the pipe cleaner. Pipe cleaners are brushes especially designed to clean smoking pipes. A narrow rod shaped device, the pipe cleaner is used to clean the stem and hard to reach parts of tobacco pipes and bongs.

Normally, pipe cleaners for smoking use absorbent materials to better scrub out dirt inside the pipe. Technical pipe cleaners sometimes use microfilament polyesters because they don’t just absorb, but remove liquids.

There is also a range of craft pipe cleaners on the market; these are often thicker and longer than standard pipe cleaners. Craft pipe cleaners can be purchased in many different sizes and colours, but may not be as useful when applied to cleaning smoking pipes and bongs, as some of them cannot absorb liquids.
